Your HTTP request is coming from a limited network area

You're probably reading this page because you've attempted to access some part of my blog (Wandering Thoughts) or CSpace, the wiki thing it's part of. Unfortunately whatever you're using to do so is coming from a network area, such as a cloud provider, that as of late 2025 is entirely too abused by a plague of high volume crawlers (apparently in part to gather data for LLM training). To reduce the load on Wandering Thoughts I'm now limiting access from network areas that are mostly used by crawlers and other automated software instead of people. This includes but is not limited to many of the major cloud providers, both in the USA and elsewhere (yes, I am blocking AWS and Google Cloud).

If you are attempting to fetch one of my syndication feeds from some cloud area and have a specific User-Agent that clearly identifies your feed fetchers, you can contact me at my current place at the university (you should be able to work out the email address from that). If you are using a cloud VPS as a personal VPN exit point, I am sorry but I am probably not willing to unblock you by IP (and certainly not by User-Agent).
